Tender For corrigendum : custom bid for services - esp hv rectiformer repair at nspcl bhilai ppii - work includes fault finding, repairing, overhauling, testing and replacement of the items as described below for the said transformer to make it functional in all respects. 1)hv winding: preparation of new set of coils as per existing winding and insulation class as per requirement. coils should be made with electrolytic grade new copper. rewinding of hv winding with the new coils. 2)lv winding: repair/re-insulation of lv winding after removal of old insulation. proper annealing of old copper to be done before starting re-insulation job. 3)providing fresh inter layer insulation. 4)providing and fixing new insulation supports of fiber reinforced (frp) wherever missing /damaged. original dimension must be maintained. bakelite materials are to be replaced wherever necessary. 5) sundry items like cotton/glass tape, varnish, bakelite sheets, silica gel, tube, nuts and bolts etc. required for repair are to be supplied by the vendor. however, scrap generated out of these works will be kept by the vendor. 6) complete re-insulation of ac reactor. 7) hv & lv bushings of wsi make or equivalent are to be provided by the vendor. 8) dismantling of defective core and preparation of new transformer core if required. material will be supplied by the vendor. 9) new high voltage resistance column (hind rectifier/ bharat electronics/ ador make) is to be supplied by the vendor. 10) rectifier diode bridge (hind rectifier/ bharat electronics/ ador make), feedback diode stacks are to be replaced by the vendor. 11) studs coming out from the lv bushings for lv cable termination needs to be replaced if threads found damaged. 12) there should be no oil leakage from any part of the transformer after assembly and filling of oil. 13) any unspecified works, to make the transformer more reliable has to be done by the vendor i. works to be done/ items to be replaced: i. replacement of gaskets of suitable thickness at all flanges, joints, top covers with rc-70c grade anchor cork make or equivalent by the vendor ii. all fasteners are to be replaced by the vendor (with gi material). iii. all hv, lv and control bushings oil seals are to be replaced with new ones by the vendor iv. silica-gel breather of capacity 0.5 kg is to be replaced with new one with new silica-gel v. replace view glass/ gasket of the oil conservator. the oil level should be clearly visible in the oil tank gauge glass. vi. oti (precimeasure or equivalent make) and buchholz relay (make- sukrut or equivalent) shall be replaced by the vendor. vii. transformer will be sent with oil filled. if any top up is required at vendor's works will be in scope of vendor. the oil to be used for top up shall be of new ehv grade transformer oil (as per is: 335) with minimum 50kv bdv value and maximum moisture content 15 ppm. after completion of repair job, filtration of complete oil has to be carried out for achieving oil parameter of minimum 50kv bdv value and maximum moisture content 15 ppm. vii. painting inside the tank with epoxy paint and outside with synthetic enamel paint with colour code ral 5012 is to be done. ii. tests to be conducted: i) hot spot test of core at rated amp-turn after removal of all windings. ii) resistance & inductance measurement of all windings. iii)ratio test. iv) induced over voltage test as per is 2026 (part iii) 1981. v) short circuit test. vi) no load current and loss test. vii)insulation resistance test, pi value before and after above tests. viii) bdv of oil as per relevant is code and standard. ix) high voltage test on hv winding as per is 2026 (part iii) 1981. x) voltage and current feedback circuit rectification /calibration and testing up to transformer terminal block
