Tender For attending repair/revamping works of 03 nos. 30 ton capacity, 20 feet manual spreaders at haddo wharf in sri vijaya puram. - attending repair/revamping of 30 ton capacity, 20 feet manual spreader by dismantling of wire rope slings, d-shackles, twist-locks, pins and bushings, wire brushing and cleaning of the spreader s corroded/dirty surfaces, identification of cracks, welding of cracks if any required of the spreader s main frame and guide plates using approved electrodes, replacement/fabrication of damaged members, grinding and finishing of welded surfaces, repair/replacement of twist-lock assemblies, pins and bushes, machining of worn-out parts to original dimension and tolerances, re-assembling of all the removed and repaired items after attending necessary welding, machining works. welding works are to be done properly in conventional method as per the direction of eic, all the items are to be aligned properly in conventional method as it was in original, checking of alignment of the spreader, complete cleaning of the entire surface of the spreader and making it rust-free, application of one coat of anti-corrosive primer and two coats of approved marine-grade enamel paint, making trial run for functionality of twist-locks, load testing the spreader, d-shackles, wire rope slings as per the standards, certification of the tested spreader and accessories including cost of all labour charges, material charges, tools and plants, all port dues and taxes, transportation charges i.e., sending of the spreader to kolkata for carrying out repair/revamping works, load testing, certification and bringing back to haddo wharf, sri vijaya puram etc. complete.
