Tender For custom bid for services - deployment of 14 nos safety stewards at ntpc kahalgaon-work of safety stewards in hsw category: - 1. to provide training/pep talk to the site workers / briefing about plant safety to visitors / issuing ppes to visitors& collection after visit. maintain training /pep talk/ safety park visit/ describe /explain about safety park arranging and helping in vertigo test keep, maintain amc records of workers in the direction of eic. 2. to go round the site with a view to check unsafe act/unsafe conditions and to suggest remedial measures on the spot or with the consultation of concerned eics/ntpc safety o icer. 3. to monitor for strict implementation of safety norms. 4. to look into health hazards associated with the site activities while handling di erent types of material and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipments. 5. to advise site-in-charge to stop unsafe practices, if any imminent danger is observed while carrying out the activities at site and issue a warning notice on the spot and also intimate to engineer-in-charge / ntpc safety o icer immediately. 6. regular discussion with engineer-in-charge / ntpc safety o icers regarding various unsafe condition / practices observed at site. 7. in addition to above safety stewards shall be responsible to monitor the safety control room, visitors room and ptw system on the site round the clock along with associated jsa and hira and ensuring all safety measures are compiled before taking up the work. 8. daily logbook will be maintained by safety stewards regarding their observations at site for unsafe conditions /unsafe acts and to discussed with concerned eic. 9. monitoring overhauling site 10. assisting in safety department o icials as and when required for departmental works. 11. to verify all tools/tackles and equipment s of various agencies are adequate and safe for use and collect the test certificates of the same and submit it to safety department. 12. active participation in conducting all the safety promotional activities. 13. any other assignment as per the directions of eic..
