Tender For turnkey wooden deck jobs on board navy ship - turnkey service for wooden deck & wooden jobs on-board navy ship (rm.0827), wooden ladder to be removed/ renewed and refitted post varnished, qty - 05, mat - teak wood., remove fife rails from deck. repair/ renew and refit. check conditions of deck plates. ss, teak wood. as per sample post fitment of mast. qty - 03, mat - ss, teak wood, brass cap for belay pin provided by the shipyard. vendor to quote for repair only., water leakage observed from following location in weather deck: - (i) fore mast and fifrail. (ii) main mast and fifrail. (iii) port and stbd fifrail on foxle. (iv) mizzen mast and fifrail. (v) 14 numbers skylights, (vi) soft patches on bridge deck. ra for repair of the same. job involve: - removal of wooden deck, sealing of all deck penetrating nuts, bolts and fittings using sealing compound and restoring of wooden deck. approx area for wood removal 40 sqmt.(r/refitting wooden deck (no renewal) after sealing compund application), weather deck wash basin drain deteriorated to be renewed, qty - 8 rmt, mat - cu-ni, dia- 50mm. sow involve:- (i) removal of old drain line and fitment of new drain line. removal and re-fitment wooden deck to be undertaken by the vendor , approx area one sqmt., wooden deck of stern platform perished/ deteriorated to be renewed. approx area - 16 sqmtr, mat - teak wood, wooden deck cracked/ damaged at various locations. ingress of water observed from the same areas. wood renewal to be undertaken at following location: - (a) foxle - 25 sqmt, (b) main mast - 17 sqmt (c) quarter deck - 18 sqmt, (d) stp lobby - 5 sqmt, (e) wardroom lobby - 5 sqmt. sow involve:- (i) degutting of wooden deck at indicated locations (by the vendor). (ii) deck plating to be surveyed post degutting of wooden deck and renewal of deck plate as per survey report. (iii) regutting of wooden deck with new burma teak wood (by the vendor). (iv) wooden deck sealing to be carried out post regutting with bostic compound(simson msr deck caulk) (by the vendor). total area - 70 sqmt approx., sealing/caulking compound between wood on upper and lower decks compartments deteriorated to be repaired in situ, qty - 1000 rmt, polishing and varnishing of wooden flooring of weather decks to be carried out view polishing deteriorated .job involve scrubbing of deck, removal of dirt/ oil/ grease / paint from deck with buffing machine and application of varnish in following steps; _ (i) apply two coat of sealer, (ii) two coat of colour, (iii) one coat of varnish. total area - 300 sqmt, polishing and varnishing of wooden deck of following compartment to be carried out view deteriorated: - (a) captains cabin (b) exos cabin (c ) wardroom (d) officers cabin (e) wardroom lobby (f) pos messsqmt, (g) dining hall (h) hod mess (j) gunwale (k) po mess lobby (l) pin rail (m) wooden gratings (n) cock pit store (p) chart house (q) ships office, (r) bow sprit sqmt, (s) sickbay (t) cadets mess . job involve scrubbing of deck, removal of dirt/ oil/ grease / paint from deck with buffing machine and application of varnish in following steps; _ (i) apply two coat of sealer, (ii) two coat of colour, (iii) one coat of varnish. total area - 200 sqmt., bowsprit major weathering cracks at scattered locations to be repaired. scope of work as follows : -(i) buffing of the area.(ii) repairs to be carried out using marine epoxy resin., varnish of bowsprit is to be undertaken with saturated coats of deck olje d1 saturating wood oil with clear matt finish and six coats of deck olje d2 flexible high gloss oil varnish. qty - 20 sqmt., bow sprit base bolts to be renewed view nut & bolts deteriorated( size- m20 , mat - ss), qty - 30 nos, bowsprit handrail repairs at scattered locations( type - wood, mat and dimension- as per sample).scope of work as follows : -(i) cutting of handrail of designated area and renewal of the same as per the piece cut. qty - 04, bow sprit base deteriorated. bow sprit base to be removed/ renewed
