Tender For manufacture, supply and installation of cross beam girder (size of beam 11 meter long, cross section 500 mm height & 180 mm width approx.) of 3ton eot crane along with suitable long transverse ge ared motors 2nos as per rwf drawing no. 703402210640. note: 1. only crane manufacturers or their auth orized representatives with relevant expertise shall be eligible to participate in the tender. 2. the drawing attached is only for the general guidance. the supplier shall visit the rwf and take necessary data before c ommencing the work. 3. all raw materials necessary for the fabrication, including channels, plates, and stru ctural steel, shall be supplied by the supplier. 4. the supplier shall also be responsible for the transportatio n of all components such as the fabricated cross beam, hoist, channels, plates, etc., to the rail wheel facto ry (rwf), including both to and fro movements, and shall bear all associated transportation charges. 5. the supplier shall dismantling the existing electrical connections and the removal of the hoist assembly. proper support beams must be provided between the end carriages, and the cross beam (girder) must be carefully supported before the removal of mounting bolts. the cross beam should then be lowered cautiously to prev ent damage to surrounding equipment and shifted to the designated location. the temporary support beam for the end carriages shall be removed thereafter. 6. the supplier shall remove the existing long travel gea rbox along with its motor, and install a new gearbox and motor fitted with suitable gears and couplings. th e hoist is to be reinstalled in its original position, and all electrical connections must be restored accordingl y. once the mechanical and electrical installations are complete, the cross beam and associated structures shall be painted in yellow and black colors, adhering to standard safety norms for cranes. 7. rwf will provi de to the supplier with air, electricity, water, and welding/oxy-cutting consumables free of cost. however, t he supplier is required to supply all raw materials for fabrication and arrange all necessary tools, lifting tac kles, and handling equipment for the execution of the work. the supplier is also obligated to provide appro priate personal protective equipment (ppe) such as helmets, gloves, safety harnesses, and other safety gea r to all personnel working at the site. 8. after completion of all work, the supplier must conduct a load test of the crane and submit a valid load test certificate. throughout the execution, the supplier will be solely re sponsible for the safety of all workers engaged in the activity, and the entire work shall be carried out in co mpliance with applicable safety standards and rwf's guidelines. 9. the motor with gearbox for the lt mov ement shall have a minimum power of 1 hp, and its output speed shall be suitable to achieve an lt movem ent speed of at least 20 meters per minute.
