( 20mm) 4. dielectric strength: > 44 kv 5. leakage current: below 10 ma. 6. ac proof voltage: 22 kv ac voltage. 7. insulation resistance : >100000 m ohm 8. tensile strength : > 15n/mm2 9. elongation at break : 250 % min 10. composition: a) the insulating mats shall be made from the material- elastomer, free from any insertions leading to the detoriation of insulating properties. b) the upper surface of the insulating mats shall have small aberrations( rough surface without edges) to avoid slippery effects while the lower surface shall be plane or could be finished slip resistant without affecting adversely the di-electric property of the mat. 11. color: without any metallic derivatives. instructions for fixing of insulation sheet 1) special adhesive & bonding material required for fixing or pasting of insulation mat to be supplied by vendor. terms and conditions 1. test certificates for leakage current, di electric strength, ac proof voltage, insulating resistance, tensile strength and elongation will be provided with material as per is 15652 : 2006 2) as per attached indicative qp & pr specifications vendor shall submit quality plan for ntpc approval, pdi shall be done as per approved qp by ntpc. 3) type test report shall be reviewed by ntpc at the time of pdi. all materials to be supplied shall be of type tested design. the contractor shall submit for employers approval the reports of all the type tests as listed in this specification and carried out within last ten years from the date of bid opening. these reports should be for the tests conducted on the equipment similar to those proposed to be supplied under this contract and the test(s) should have been either conducted at an independent govt laboratory or should have been witnessed by a 3rd party client
