Tender For custom bid for services - engaging four safety stewards on assignment basis for a period of 24 months at ntpc gadarwara; f work for safety stewards : job description of safety stewards given below is indicative and not exhaustive 1. safety stewards shall be posted in safety control room to monitor the site working conditions through cctv cameras. 2. reporting of safety deviations from safety control room. 3. communication of safety deviations to the concerned in charge. 4. analysis of safety deviations. 5. report preparation. 6. recording the non availability/ functioning of camaras and reporting to the concern. in addition to the above, the safety stewards may deployed in following activities on requirement basis; 7. conducting daily pep talks to the contract employees at site 8. providing safetytraining to contract employees 9. identifying probable hazards, associated risks and preparation of job safety analysis 10.site inspection prior to issue of ptw and random checking of ptw. 11.carrying out daily site inspections and co-ordination for closure of noncompliances. 12.associating with cisf-fire wing during mock drills 13.associating in safety audits by ntpc and contracting agencies in the respective areas 14.to inform ntpc safety department about any imminent danger observed during inspection at site and taking immediate action like stopping the activity, recommending warning letters ,recommending penalty 15.documentation and report preparation. 16.ensuring statutory compliance and taking appropriate action in consultation with ntpc 17.regular discussions with engineer-in-charges/area engineers/ntpc safety officers regarding unsafe acts/unsafe conditions/unsafe practices observed during inspection 18.normal working hours (general shift/shift duty) will be as decided by engineerin-charge.; safety items: 1. safety shoe (electrical), 2. safety helmet safety jacket.3. safety goggle, 4. cotton hand gloves, 5. cut proof hand gloves, 6. electrical hand gloves, 7. helmet torch, 8. boiler suit, 9. arc suit, 10. nose mask, 11. full body harness, 12. fall arrester.
