Tender For providing of custom bid for services - removal of sludge from pickling plant at sstp bhel trichy-pickling plant process sludge removal and disposal- 1. work permit shall be obtained from the concerned executive in-charge for carrying out the cleaning work before starting work. 2. phosphate bath will be handed over for cleaning after pumping solution to holding tank by cmp/sstp. as the sludge will tend to get dried and solidified, cleaning activities shall be commenced immediately after draining bath. 3. phosphate sludge present in the bath shall be thoroughly removed and collected in barrels / boxes without spillage on floor. contractor shall coordinate with maintenance dept. for fabricating boxes/barrels. 4. phosphate sludge filled barrels shall be moved to covered shed identified for storage with the help of vehicle and dumped on the floor. contractor shall bring vehicle for movement of barrels without spillage on floor. sludge removal/movement shall be completed on the same day itself as the chemical is to be stored in covered shed only. contractor has to ensure required manpower to complete the work as per schedule given by cmp/sstp. 5. contractor has to inform no. of barrels being moved to cmp/sstp for documentation purpose. 6. sedimentation pit will be handed over for cleaning after pumping water to recycling pit by cmp/sstp. as the sludge will tend to get dried and solidified, cleaning activities shall be commenced immediately after draining pit. 7. sedimentation sludge present in the pit shall be thoroughly removed and collected in tanks/boxes without spillage on floor. contractor shall coordinate with maintenance dept. for fabricating tanks/boxes. 8. sedimentation sludge filled tanks/boxes shall be moved to identified area/pits for storage with the help of vehicle and dumped into the pit. contractor shall bring vehicle for movement of tanks/boxes without spillage on floor. sludge removal/movement shall be completed on the same day itself as the chemical is to be stored in identified area only. contractor has to ensure required manpower to complete the work as per schedule given by cmp/sstp. 9. contractor has to inform no. of tanks/boxes being moved to cmp/sstp for documentation purpose. 10. the contractor shall provide all safety devices and personal protective equipment to their workmen at their own cost and shall ensure that their workmen wear such ppes (rubber gloves, leather gloves, respirator, apron & cum boot) while doing the work and there should not be any relaxation on this
