Tender For auction sale of others - released and unserviceable one number steel lattice tower structure (flood light tower). (a) bidders may visit the site of the material for physical inspection of the material and loading spot also, in all aspects before bidding in e auction.(b)) post auction no representation shall be entertained. (c) the lot to be sold on as is where is basis. (d) lots to be sold and delivered on actual weight basis in any govt. approved road weigh bridge. (e)1. safety briefing: conduct a thorough safety briefing to all the personnel involved. ii. securing the area: temporary barricading shall be provided on all four sides of lattice tower for suitable working area and to restrict unauthorized access to the site. where not feasible, alternative measures shall be adopted such as deputing personnel to avoid unauthorized entry, warning tapes or boards. continuous supervision of electrical and engineering supervisor shall be adopted during dismantling of lattice tower; it must be ensured that area around the tower is clear and free from any obstruction. iii. equipment preparation: necessary equipment required: (a) climbing stairs (generally available with the lattice tower) (b) electrical operated cutting tools (hand grinder, saws) with suitable generator set. (c) lifting equipment (rope, pulleys etc.) (d) personal protective equipment (safety helmet, safety belt, protective glasses, hand gloves, jacket etc.) (e) any other requisite equipment to complete the job. iv. pre- intimation to concerned departments: pre-intimation in prescribed format hard copy should be sent to concerned departments regarding date and duration fixed for dismantling of structure in prescribed proforma of joint assessment as -1. station yard- 2.location- 3. kilometer ¿ 4.name and address of firm carrying out dismantling work- 5.height of tower structure im meter- 6.condition of foundation and structure supporting bolt ¿ 7. availability of flood light fittings (nos. & wattage) - 8. power supply cable (type and size)- 9. dismantling of cable required (in m)- 10.1. any other asset on tower that needs to be removed 2.. any other asset near tower that needs to be dismantled. 12 distance from adjacent tracks (in m) 12 proximity from ohe structure (in m)- 13 barricading possible (yes/no)- 14. power block required. if yes, duration- 15.traffic block required. if yes, duration- 16. location for storing dismantled ms scrap- 17 any infringement- 18 any other remarks- signature of firm's representative at site-
