Tender For supply of end wall assembly for lhb gs & scn (amrit bharat ) coaches note:-(1)in dra wings "mig welding (131) is to be read as tig welding (141)" as per design letter no. md4 6231 dated 16.03.2024. (2)firm shall collect all latest/final drawings before manufactu ring. there may be minor modification in design., as per drawing: 75415001 alt. 'br1', packing instruction: 1. the supplier shall pack the end wall in a suitably designed returnable fixt ure in such a way that end wall shall not get scratched, damaged, twisted during tra nsportation, storage and lifting and to avoid scratches on outer surface. it should b e seperated by suitable environment friendly blocks to avaoid rubbing of two endwall surfaces . it should have standard clamping /fastening mechanism so that it can be ope ned easily. it should have firm's identification mark. 2. first returanable fixture along with end wall be retained by rcf & this fixture shall be exchanged in the second lot su pply and so on. at the end of the contact, the firm shall collect the remaining returnable packing fixture from rcf. 3. the packing fixture/frame to be fabricated havi ng sufficient strenght to bear approximate 2 tonne load in static & moving condition o f two coach sets of end wall. 4. the fixture /frame/pallet should be designed so that t he packed end wall preferably remain in vertical position to minimize surface area. 5. it should also be suitable for storage of end wallunder open sky. [ warranty period: 30 m onths after the date of delivery ]
