Tender For srph154036-mri conditional dual chamber pacemaker rate responsive (dddr) with appropriate atrial and ventricular bipolar steroid eluting lead (mri conditional) with life warranty provision of pacing therapy for the use of the patients life-time in cluding any no. of pulse generator replacements as clinically required. should have the latest technological features to provide proportionate, smooth and appropriat e response of pacing rate to increased metabolic demand, should provide for atrial and ventricular pacing and sensing with choice of at least 16 modes of operation, app ropriate safety features to avoid cross talk, optimum flexibility of programming (inc luding minimal av delay of 30msec or less and atrial sensitivity of 0.2mv or less), detail ed data storage with easy retrieval and display of advanced diagnostics for ease of clinical follow up & maximal longevity. should be capable of programming for prolo nging longevity and maximal cost effectiveness. should be capable of providing relia ble ventricular capture with lowest battery drain so as to provide maximum longevit y of the pacing system.( preferably as an automatic feature where the pulse generat or can perform a periodic threshold test and reliably verify ventricular capture an d adjust ventricular pulse output parameters to minimize battery drain without com promising patient safety). should have features for automatic management of arrhyt hmias (including pacemaker mediated arrhythmias) as well as automatic mode switchin g (mode switch should be to and from ddd to ddi/vvir, provision of rate responsive pa cing after mode switch and automatic reversion to ddd after termination of mode sw itch triggering arrhythmias). should have algorithms to promote intrinsic conducti on. both atrial and ventricular channels should have provision for high energy outp ut i.e. up to at least 6.0 volts pulse amplitude and pulse width up to atleast 1.0 ms, foll ow up diagnosis and reprogramming should be rendered as effective as possible thr ough provision of adequate information management systems on the programmer. m ri compatible leads should be bipolar, steroid eluting and low profile either tined or active fixation type (7f or smaller introducer individually). leads should be from the same manufacturer i.e. manufactured by the same company as the pulse generator, n ot outsourced and marketed by another company. pulse generator and leads should be suitable for adult and paediatric patients. the manufacturer / supplier should sub mit proof of supply to a major government institute. publications supporting the saf ety and efficacy of the pacemaker device and the leads in clinical use should be avail able in peer reviewed journals. the latest programmer with up dated software shoul d be available at all times permanently in the hospital. the programmer should have f acilities for simultaneous display of multiple surface ecg leads, intracardiac electr ograms, event markers, electronic calipers and for recording the same both on pap er and in electronic storage media e.g. compact disc etc., unit:no [quantity tolerance (+/-): 5 %age , item category : normal , total po value variation permitted: max 8 lacs ] ]
