Tender For supply, installation, testing and commissioning of dcus/gateways/ allocation of sim network service provider and the arrangement of sim cards to enable reliable medium for two-way communication between smart meter & amp:, hes (head end system) over rf mesh network/cellular network. 1. the dcu/gateway shall be compatible with the smart meters mentioned above. rf mesh network should use 865-867 mhz frequency band. 2. the data acquisition (push/pull) frequency shall be configurable 15 min, 30 min or 60 minutes. it shall push events such as tamper, power off etc. to hes immediately on occurrence/receipt from meters. 3. it shall have provision for the cellular, wifi and ethernet communication for the backhaul tohes. 4. sufficient number of gateways shall be installed in such a way that all the meters are covered in the network efficiently. 5. it shall be capable to handle data of minimum 500 nos. of any type of smart meter (1ph/3ph). it shall be able to communicate with the nearest meters at a distance of at least 300 m, depending on topographical features. 6. communication of the nearest meters with other meters shall be established through appropriate mesh formation. rf mesh shall support self-forming and self-healing features. 7. rfmesh shall support at least 15 no. of hops. 8. the equipment shall be weather-proof and dust-proof (minimum rating: ip54 for indoor and ip65 for outdoor installation). it shall have rechargeable battery with backup for 1(one) hour for normal meter reading, to push tamper event, carry out on demand reading, etc. 9. it shall have passed the following emc tests from reputed lab: conducted emission, electrostatic discharge (esd), radiated immunity, electrical fast transient (eft) - burst, surge, rf conducted disturbances. 10. rf mesh network shall be established to meet the slas as mentioned in tender document. 11. replacement warranty period shall be 66 (sixty-six) months from the date of supply or 60 (sixty) months from the date of commissioning, whichever is earlier.
