Tender For corrigendum : providing of custom bid for services - custom bid for services - valce salvaging job; f work covers salvaging of defective sc valves and restoring them for reuse as per standard procedures and instructions of the officer-in-charge. the contractor shall carry out the following activities in a safe, systematic, and accountable manner: 1. salvaging operations salvaging of defective sc valves shall be carried out as per laid-down procedures using the valve test bench and/or any other equipment or method advised by the officer-incharge. the contractor shall collect defective sc valves from the store after obtaining necessary approvals. 2. cleaning & preparation clean all defective sc valves in the ultrasonic valve cleaningmachine and/or other approved valve cleaning systems. ensure all valves are thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, oil, or contaminants before testing. segregate cleaned valves properly for further inspection and testing. 3. segregation & testing segregate valves based on their source (e.g. hot repair, defective, pin leak, scrapable cylinders, etc.). perform low pressure and high pressure testing of the valves as per laid-down procedures and test parameters. identify valves that are fit for reuse and those that are defective/rejects. 4. salvaging & assembly replace the old o -ring washer of all good salvaged valves with new o -ring washers (to be provided by hpcl). fit safety caps and back covers on the salvaged valves to protect them from dust and contamination. ensure salvaged valves are clean, properly assembled, and ready for storage. 5. storage & documentation arrange salvaged valves type-wise in a countable and organized manner and deposit them in the stores. ensure proper handling to avoid damage or mixing of valve categories. maintain shift-wise records of: o number of valves received, o number of valves cleaned, tested and salvaged, o number of valves rejected. 6. manpower & productivity contractor shall provide minimum one manpower per shift. a minimum target of 400 sc valves shall be salvaged per manpower per shift. inventory of defective valves pending salvaging shall not exceed one day s generation. 7. materials & consumables hpcl shall provide o -ring washers, safety caps, back covers, and other reusable fittings. kerosene and other cleaning consumables shall be supplied by the vendor. contractor shall ensure availability of all tools and accessories required for smooth execution. 8. certification & payment the shift officer shall certify the salvaged quantity at the end of each shift. payment shall be made strictly on actual quantity salvaged and accepted by hpcl. any deviation or failure to meet daily targets may attract penalty as per tender terms. 9. safety & compliance all activities shall be carried out in compliance with hpcl safety norms and oisd guidelines. personnel shall wear required ppe (gloves, goggles, shoes, helmet) during operations. all salvaging and testing activities shall be conducted under the supervision of hpcl personnel.
