(a) the firm is to provide manpower for rope handling for docking/ undocking of slave dock pontoon as per docking schedule. (b) normally, one docking is envisaged. secord docking is catered to address exigencies, if any arises or to cater for operational requirements (c) cost of additional docking/ undocking operations of the pontoon, emerging due to delay in refit attributable to the contractor, is to be borne by the contractor. (d) fire sentry with portable fire-fighting appliances as well as physical security of contractor items/ material during dry-docking/ refit period are to be catered by the contractor. item no 1 2.00 nos 1.0002 002 cleaning of underwater hull post docking, external hull surface of the pontoon to be cleaned by high pressure fresh water jet washing (3000 psi) immediately after docking. item no 2 1950.00 sq.m 1.0003 003 provision of scaffolding, positioning and staging for undertaking survey, renewal/ repairs, surface preparation and painting of sdp. nb: (a) the principles dimensions of the pontoon are as follows:- size of slave dock pontoon 86m(l) x 16m(b) x 2.8m(h) (b) scaffolding material will be provided by nd(v) item no 3 1500.00 cum 1.0004 004 (a) undertake visual survey of all structural members including complete external hull surface, weather deck, access ladders and all internal tanks, manhole covers and deck fittings. item no 4 15000.00 sq.m 1.0005 004 (b) usg survey is to be undertaken for the suspected areas as per recommendations of class society (to be paid on actual). item no 5 5000.00 sq.m 1.0006 004 (c) hull survey and action taken reports is to be approved by any one of the in approved classification society (abs/bv/dnv/irs/classnk/lr/rina). nb:- (a) surveys are to be undertaken through qualified inspection services provided firm, recognised by any one of the in approved classification society, as indicated above. (b) renewal of corroded/ damaged areas to be recommended through survey i.a.w class standards or no 01/15. ndt, post repairs, to be undertaken as per class society norms. (c) tanks repaired by build-up/renewals are to be air pressure tested. (d) usg gauge and all associated equipment for survey to be provided by firm. robotic survey methods may be used by the contractor to save labour and time. (e) all deck fittings to be surveyed, repaired and load tested where considered necessary as per class standards. (f) all manholes to be inspected and repaired to ensure water tightness item no 6 1.00 set 1.0007 005 metal built ups to be carried at indicated location i.a.w class standards or no 01/15 requirements. nb: (a) build up followed by fairing by grinding to be undertaken. (b) to be undertaken as per survey report (to be paid as per actual work done) i.a.w class standards or no 01/15. item no 7 100.00 sq.m 1.0008 006 scantlings/ hull structural renewal of corroded/ damaged areas as per survey. nb: (a) renewal to be undertaken as per class standards or no 01/15.
