[while delivery if any fish plate, bend fish plate, bolts, nuts etc. attached to rails to be returned to railways] terms and conditions: 1] other p. way items nearby the lot are not for sale and to be returned to the custodian. 2] prospective bidders are advised to inspect the lots put up for e-auction and as mentioned in the relevant auction catalogue prior to bidding. 3] the detailed inventory, qty, road approach and location of the lot is as per the joint inspection report. 4] the purchasers should survey the material for road approach, location and qty before bidding the lot. after bidding no correspondence will be entertained. 5) the weight of rail scrap is calculated as per length multiplied by sectional weight for accounting. actual weight may be same or lesser than the mentioned in the auction due to wear and tear. it is the responsibility of the purchaser to bid accordingly. 6) after full payment the successful bidder should request for a date of delivery at least 7 days in advance from the desired date. 7) the delivery request should have 3 different dates. the earliest possible/available date will be given. note: there will be a compulsory gap of 2 days between the date of delivery fixation letter and the actual date of delivery. the purchaser shall abide by this.
